Grade 8 Milkshake Outing
On the 2nd of February, Our new grade 8’s went on an outing for Freak Milkshakes at The Grubhouse! It was a wonderful treat. We hope our grade 8’s feel welcomed and got to know each other a bit better.
Interschool Athletics Tournament
On Friday, the 24th of February, we hosted an Interschool Athletics Tournament against other independent schools such as Raslouw Academy and Shangri-la Academy, Young Health Centre and Monumentpark College. It was a great showcase of athletic talent and although Shangri-la Academy won the overall athletic trophy, Carpe Diem Academy won the SPIRIT AWARD plus a large number of our learners received medals for various events! The list of achievements will be published in the next issue! On top of all that, our teachers even won the teachers relay race! Well done Carpies!
Valentines Day Ball
On Friday, 17th February, we hosted a Valentines Day Ball. The theme was Paris. The décor was stunning & everyone came dressed to impress then danced the night way. Congrats to Jayden and Germi for winning Mr. & Miss Valentine. Thank-you to Ms. Christelle, Ms. Natalie & their helpers for making it a wonderful experience!
